A singing group for ALL people of any experience level or background who like to make music in celebration of Spirit, Earth, and Community.

Clear Rivers Chorus began as an informal gathering of women  in January, 2003. Beginning in January, 2019 the group is now actively welcoming people of all genders, experience levels, ages, and backgrounds including singers, instrumentalists, & visual artists.

Carolyn McDade, the composer of a lot of our music, says that our purpose is to develop “a reverence for life, for planetary, social, and personal wholeness.” See  With that in mind, we have shared our music for local Earth Day gatherings, in fund raising for community service agencies, in community sings, at the local farmers' market, in worship services, and for our own enjoyment.  We have organized a local watershed awareness event, and we donate regularly to the Georgia River Network. We share information and reflection on environmental issues, and we support each other, honoring the ways our lives flow together.  We are currently expanding our repertoire to include other sources of inspiration and connection with other styles of music that enrich our shared community life.

Our schedule usually includes one Saturday morning and one weekday evening each month.

There is no fee for participation, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of practice space and sheet music.  Checks can be made payable to Carol Boyd.  For more information, contact Carol at 770-841-5404 or  This email address is being protected from spambots.
